The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts

Project Connect

Welcome to Project Connect. This section of the site has been designed to facilitate conversation and collaboration among Warhol Initiative grantees.  Over the past 10 years, the Initiative has evolved from a small informal group into a national network of sixty-four artist-centered organizations and eleven arts journals, representing a rich cross section of knowledge, ideas and experience in the field of visual arts. We hope Project Connect will enable you to take advantage of the resources contained within the network; please feel free to use it in any way you think might be beneficial to your organization.  For example, if you are trying to travel an exhibition to other cities, you might post a request to find interested venues; if you have a question about fabrication or installation challenges – or if you are setting up an archive, an auction, a membership program or any other system – you could look to the network for advice; if you want to collaborate on an exhibition, performance, publication or if you are looking for an artist, a writer, a curator, a juror, the network is a great place to turn.

The process of submitting something to Project Connect is simple. Click “Submit a Project, describe the project (or question or proposition) in an email, hit “send” and the foundation will post it to this site and alert the Initiative members that a new post is up. All posts will appear in this section and discussion can take place un-moderated in the comments below.
